Navigating Academia (as a Woman)

How do you succeed in academia? What are the common challenges that are likely to stand in your way? Though there is not one right answer to these questions, many women encounter a similar set of problems and opportunities when navigating academic life. Based on social science research and crowd-sourced advice from successful women faculty members, this workshop offers suggestions for women academics on research, teaching, mentoring, and service.

Target group: Doctoral candidates and postdocs at the beginning of their research career at the Faculty of Social Sciences
